Circa late 1960s

A delightful vintage dress from a well known and respected Hawaiaan designer. Hilo Hattie's company has been around from many years and has made some of the most loved garments with exotic fabrics and designs. This dress which I believe is circa late 1960s or 1970s is a medium length float style (or short muumuu (mumu). Set against a white background you will find a well-planned exotic design profusion of exotic blooms and jungle leaves. The front has very large pattern and leads around the side to the back where there is sparse pattern. This makes for a really interesting look both 'coming and going'. The neckline is a squared yolk (very attractive). CONDITION is wonderful vintage. I don't find any flaws and it looks almost not worn. The labels are fully intact. The fabric is 65% Polyester and 25% Cotton and the art on fabric is just very special. The garment has been kept smoke-free and odor free and is a delight.
