I believe this dress to be a VINTAGE 1970s dress and although there is no label within, my best guess is that it is a retro Gunne Sax dress, as it has all the appearance of one and I have bought a number of very feminine dresses and blouses over the years by that wonderful label. This frock is fit for a princess with its dropped V waist and figure-slimming darts in the torso--a real confecton to wear to a dance since there is a great circular sweep that will swirl and fan out as you dance. Underneath is a satin slip. The long lacey peekaboo sleeves are romantic as are all the other features, including the large flap style collar bodice. The all lace overlay is one of the prettiest I have seen in all lace dresses. There's a long zipper down back for easy entry. I call the COLOR cotton candy pink and you just have to love that charm. There is no size label within, but this is a SIZE small. Close approximate measurements are bust 32, waist 24/25 inches and hips variable due to the circular style full skirt. The LENGTH is waltz length and measures 44.5 inches. The FABRIC is 42% nylon, 40% acetate, and 18% rayon. CARE instructions are dry clean only. The CONDITION is excellent/previously loved, and it's smoke-free, odor-free and clean!
