You are viewing an absolutely fantastic 1970s romantic dress sometimes called a gypsy dress, peasant dress or boho dress. This one is one of the prettiest I have seen. Talk about fabric! This appears to be a high quality cotton with multiple floral patterns used in a lively and imaginative way by a designer who has created so many lovely dresses--VICTOR KOSTA. Although I am sure this is a cotton FABRIC, there is no fabric label within--only the design label. There is a small label that does say dry clean only and I feel that is to preserve the deep colors and the crispness of fabric so that the dress will remain lovely for many years. Afterall, I am sure it was quite an investment when first purchased and one would want to keep it just as lovely as it has remained. You'll love the double ruffle flouncy neckline that can be worn on or off shoulder (oh so romantic) and there's a flounce at the hemline. The wide sash belt threads through two side loops and I have wrapped it around twice to create a cumerbund effect but it can be tied in various ways for different looks--streaming down the front or a big bow front or back...just use your creativity. This is sucn a stylishly fun dress. A 17-inch zipper down center back allows for easy entry. A hook and eye closes at the top back. SIZE of the dress: Approximate measurements are 36 inch bust and a 30 inch waist and would fit sizes 10/12 today. The hips are flexible due to style of skirt part of the dress. The length is 58 inches, so this will fit a tall lady. There's lots of fabric here and you can see there is some sweep to the bottom flounce. CONDITION: Marvelous condition. You'll not be disappointed in this one. It's clean and the fabric is smoke-free and odor-free. I love this dress.
