STYLE & COLOR: This beautiful set is very hard to find and it is quality vintage that you really want in your collection. I have found the same type half slip once before in all my years of shopping and I sold it right here at the shop; however, I have never found the set until now and never realized that it was an ensemble until I found them together. The camisole just makes this a prize to behold. The embroided cream glow nylon is edged with baby lace and the embroidery and eyelet is some of the most magnificent I have seen. Its a floral and trailing vine motif with rich embroidery in matching cream glow color (embossed effect). You have to see and touch this to realize how special it is. It has a look like an 1800s showgirl might wear with granny lace up boots. It's just a vision in my opinion. The deep flounce that meets the floor measures about 10 inches of the same fantastic embroidered nylon. FABRIC: 100% Nylon that has a lustrous finish and a rich buttery feel to it.
DETAILS: The cami has a drawstring bottom to it that adds so much feminine charm & 4 petite glistening buttons form the front closure. Deep rich and beautiful scallop work goes around the edges of the opening of the cami and at the end of the flounce at the slip's hemline. Slips waist is a 1/2 stretch elastic covered by nylon on outside of slip.
SIZE & CONDITION: Label stated Large and this has the vintage double loop large label within. Made in USA on the union label (ILGWU). This is quality all the way and is priced according to the quality, its rareness as a set, and it's excellent condition. This is fit for a movie starlet. I think maybe they would be even tempted to wear this out in public, as it's that gorgeous, but most of us will be content to just know we have an exquisite set beneath our clothing--or wear it as a bedroom fetching glamour. This is truly boudoir perfect. I have gone on and on about it because I love it so. You will too. The half slip measures 38 inches & the cami measures about 17 1/2 inches, so you are talking a total length for the set of about 55 inches. Waist unstretched is 22 inches & stretched it goes to 30/31 inches. Bust is 38/39 inches. The condition of this is excellent vintage and it is smoke free and odor free and super clean.
