What a fantastic long half slip/pettocoat this is! It's single layer fabric with 3 tiers. The color is a stunning true red--you might say Valentine or Christmas red. The lace is soft and delightful and I was surprised the label said 100% Polyester as it felt as soft as a good nylon to me. It was made in USA and I would say in the 1960s or 1970s. It's a washable fabric and it is a lightweight dream! It would be great for packing for a trip. The length is 35 inches and the waist goes from unstretched 22 inches to a fully stretched 32 inches. The hip area is about 36 to 38 inches. An adorable red satin bow is found where the 2nd tier meets the 3rd tier. This is a totally feminine slip and you won't find one often that's been kept this nice. This slip is prettier than shown in the pictures, and I love it!. CONDITION is excellent plus to near mint. This looks like it has never been worn. It's super clean and the fabric is smoke-free and odor-free...all pluses when buying vintage. This was obviously put away and kept so very nicely.
