This issue of a very popular song magazine from the forties is in excellent condition with hardly any wear. I doubt you will find one in much better condition. Inside are a couple of full page movie ads ("Two Guys from Texas" and "A Song is Born"). Lots of great songs too--standards like: Buttons and Bows, It's a Sin to Tell a Lie, Isn't It Romantic, Begin the Beguine, Someone to Watch Over Me, Golden Earrings, Embraceable You, Little White Lies, Night and Day, The Nearness of You, (many more)...and then some fun and crazy songs that were also typical of the era like: Windshield Wiper, Woody Woodpecker, Manana, Popcorn Polka, When Veronica Plays the Harmonica, the Hukilau Song, and more. AND, there are always the ads. There is a one-page ad (see below) for the fun and popular Petty Girl Hi-Ball Glasses (jazzed up a few parties in the 1940s). Then there are all those little side ads for some really hokey stuff--but fun--like: The Hubba-Hubba wallet, midget radio, tricky vanishing card, Honeymoon Love Drops, Chewing Gum Machine and Bank, Photo Ring, picture story panties for every day of the week, Saddle Ring, Strip-Tease Necktie.
