You are viewing a First Edition - First Printing of a fun little Betty Crocker cookbook copyright 1959. Its full title is Betty Crocker's Guide to Easy Entertaining and was designed for the party-giver. It's a spiral style, so lies flat for easy reading or stand-up on stand (will stay flat!). There are many colorful pictures and recipes just this side of heaven. I don't care how much one works coming up with new recipes, it's pretty hard to do better than those in vintage cookbooks. You'll love this cute little book that is not only fun to display in your kitchen, but also very practical for daily use.

Published by Golden Press, New York and Illustrated delightfully by Peter Spier in soooo FIFTIES artwork throughout. Multiple glossy color photos of the food is yummily presented and a pleasure to view the vintage serving dishes.

Just a sampling of the recipes that make your mouth water: Charcoal Grilled Rock Lobster Tails, Grape Juice Crush, French Silk Chocolate Puffs, Sweet-Sour Sparerib Bites, Marshmallow-Date Sweet Potatoes, Chicken Parisian, Shrimp de Jonghe, Minced Clam-Cheese Dip, Apricot Mousse Supreme, Baked Alaska Angel Food Cake,--and many more.

CONDITION: Wonderful condition, with clean, flat, intact pages; solid ring binding coverd by boards that are pictorial. Measures about 8 x 5 1/2 and is so colorfully cute. You'll love to display this little prize in your kitchen.
