CHARM Magazine was published from the 1940s to the early 1960s. It was published as CHARM The Magazine for Women Who Work. SEVENTEEN Magazine was very popular more for teenagers and it was felt a magazine suitable for working women would be nice to have as well. This particular issue is in very good condition with good paper smell. That is always important in vintage paper items. I always make sure to let buyers know this aspect. The spine has tears but does not affect the binding of all the interior pages which are firmly intact and in very good condition. There are 196 interior pages so this is a thick edition. As usual, one will find fashions, advice, articles of interest, vintage ads, and even some recipes and/or menus. In this issue there is information on descriptions of various slips; an article titled "Living and Working in Detroit"; "Car Pools Carry Smart Women to Work in the Newest, Sleekest Automobiles (pictures of models with cars); "The Clothes you Take Along" and so much more. You will be reading this issue from cover to cover and enjoying so many wonderful B&W pictures and color pictures as well. Ads like Jantzen, Samsonite, Kay Windsor, JetAires, Chevrolet, Maidenform, Sun-steps, Lanz, and many more. An extra picture for movie star fans is a lovely color picture of actress MONA FREEMAN.

The price you see is the total you pay, and it includes free shipping by Priority Mail within the USA.
